Arapate condemns hike in fuel pump price in Ijesaland
The Arapate of Ilesa, High Chief Olugbenga Fadunsin Igbaroola has condemned the hike in fuel pump price which has been paralyzing businesses in Ijesaland.
The Arapate who expressed his displeasure at most of the fuelling stations in Ijesaland who had increased the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), better known as petrol to #300, #400 per litre as against the initial average price of #164 per litre.
While addressing some Youths in Ilesa this morning, He said, "my People in Ijesaland, please watch out as we are going to have free petrol in Ilesa even if this has never happened before, it will happen soonest because most of the Marketers have determined to make life miserable for us and we will not allow that, businesses are dying gradually; I urge my fellow Youths to shun social vices and channel our energies to liberate ourselves from these set of people (Fuel Marketers)".
He charged the Managements of the fuelling stations in Ijesaland to have a rethink or be ready to face the music anytime soon.
