Oyetola announced the conversion of Osun college into a full fledged university
The governor of Osun State Governor on Thursday in Ilesa during the commissioning of the Ijesa Geriatric Hospital pronounced the conversion of the age-long college of education into a full fledged university
Governor Oyetola also announced that the services of KPMG have been engaged as consultants to work out a sustainable plan for the project.
The governor in his words, “Having looked into and examined carefully the request made by prominent sons and daughters of Ijesa land, and the Owa, Our highly-revered Royal Father, His Imperial Majesty, Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Oba (Dr.) Gabriel Aromolaran, Government has decided to upgrade the Osun College of Education, Ilesa, to a full-fledged University.
It could be recalled that the Osun governor had promised that the state government was considering upgrading the College of Education to a university
