Letter To Upcoming Mothers 7
" I got to my good samaritan's apartment and as usual, I was allowed to enter inside".
As entered into the living room and sat down. For over two hours, I didn't see my "good samaritan" and I was told he was at home and of course, I saw his private car packed in the compound.
In order not to waste my time, I brought out my phone and began to read one of the recommended books given to me by the pastor in order to aid my growth.
About thirty five minutes later, I began to hear my "good samaritan" having a discussion with a woman whose voice was familiar, telling her not to use more than two weeks at the states to avoid loneliness. Guess who it was?
My mother! I saw my mother after so many years.😪On seeing her, I didn't know whether to jump at her or not.
" Mummy! How could you? I turned back to leave the house but she held me tight in tears.😠I didn't even know when tears began to roll down from my eyes".
"Mum, how could you? You abandoned us, is that a life? Are you really a good mother? To be candid, you don't worth to be called a good mother".
"Omo mi ( my child), it is not what you think, it is indeed a long story which I will like you to exert patience and listen to my explanation was what my mum said".
"Leave me alone! Let me be! I was about to leave when I heard in a voice that says I must not leave, I should listen to what she has to say. I obeyed the voice, hugged my mother and told her I was ready to listen to her.
my so called "good samaritan" was shocked and surprised. He could not even utter a word. Don't forget, he does not know about my pregnancy yet and I have surrendered my life to God.
" Adeolami, everything that happened was not from me, I do not want you to blame me, please, my daughter, said my mum". If I do not blame you, who should I blame, then?
Do you know that the problem most children find themselves today, is as a result of what their parents or had done in the past which could probably has been sealed in the spirit?
To be continued....
